Champion Australian Surfer, Cold Water and Cabot Shores

Competitive surfing is not for the faint of heart. Cold-water surfing?… now that takes a special kind of courage. The kind that drives champion surfer, Sally Fitzgibbons, who visited Nova Scotia to test herself against the frigid water of the North Atlantic.

We had the pleasure to host Sally, her Dad, and her documentary film crew for one night as they traveled Cape Breton. Great group of people. In the morning before they left, Sally happily agreed to chat with us on camera for a few minutes. Take a look and get to know one of the greatest surfers of our time.

You don’t have to be a champion surfer like Sally Fitzgibbon to enjoy  winter along the Cabot Trail.  Sample your own adventure and check out the Snow Much Fun winter package at Cabot Shores…
