On September 24, Cabot Shores hosted an annual Shambhala Harvest of Peace holiday. People from across Cape Breton and beyond, gathered to witness two people taking refuge vows with Acharya Moh Hardin.
This was followed by a joyful Lhasang (smoke) ceremony, intended to bring blessings down onto the gathering, the land, the island and beyond. The festivities concluded with an address by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, the current lineage holder of Shambhala, and a delectable potluck feast. Many conversations were held and connections made and renewed.
Thank you to everyone who came out to share in this joyous occasion.
