A bit more about Tapping:
EFT, or Tapping, is an easy-to-learn technique to reduce anxiety and stress. By tapping on certain acupuncture points on our body we calm down the area of the brain that decides whether you are in “stress-mode” – or relaxed. Stress causes our brains to release the hormone, cortisol, and anxiety, physical pain, moodiness, sleep disturbances and more may result. The frustration resulting from these adds to the level of stress and leads to even more symptoms – a downwards spiral begins. The good news is that you can turn this process around with EFT. Through this simple method, we can relax and recover our equilibrium. EFT is easy to learn and fun! You experience yourself as active and in charge of your life. You can combine EFT with any other treatment method; it may even support it. By the end of this weekend you will have the EFT/Tapping technique mastered so you can use it anytime.
The weekend will be co-facilitated by Ruth Howald and Barbara Weinberg:
Ruth Howald is an experienced EFT coach and works also as a physiotherapist. She has her own practice in Basel, Switzerland, where she lives with her husband and her two children. What she likes most about her work, be it as an EFT coach or physiotherapist, is to inspire clients to connect, or re-connect, with the healing powers within themselves.
Trained as an RN, acupuncturist, (specialized in Women’s Health & addictions), and as a meditation instructor, Barbara enjoys empowering women through meditation, Qi gong (a series of movements, based on Chinese medicine) and talking circles, to reach inside themselves and connect with their inner source of health. Barbara is co-owner of Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort and Retreat Centre on Cape Breton where she runs Gate of Life Wellness programs.
