About Krystall & Laurie-Don:

Krystall (owner) started her yoga with a playful practice and upon moving back to Cape Breton from Fort McMurray to raise her two little ones Rochlan and Rori she had a vision of opening a studio.  Something drew her to Breathing Space and after meeting with founders Jenny Kierstead and Blair Abbass she knew this is exactly what she wanted to do and bring to the community in Cape Breton.
She is thrilled to be living back home working to help others find a path to a more nourishing and harmonious life style.  Krystall is grateful to witness the process of self discovery and personal development from those surrounded by her.  Also trained in pre-natal yoga and stand up paddle board yoga, she is passionate about building a community and creating a welcoming space along with some adventure.











Laurie-Dons fitness background led her to yoga 15 years ago. With her warm spirit and smiling face she welcomes students of all levels to her practice.  Receiving her 200 RYT hours under Breathing Space founder Jenny Kierstead.  Her passion has always been horses and still is to this day however finding yoga again at the right time has really helped her mentally and spiritually. Yoga has now become an essential part of her life. She is simply passionate about her own practice and teaching. She teaches with clarity, focusing on correct body alignment and movement with intelligence. Laurie-Don encourages her students to discover for themselves how yoga can heal and bring a sense of wholeness back into their life.
    Always looking for workshops to better her practice she is trained in pre-natal yoga as well as SUP yoga and she looks forward to working towards her 500 hours.
