At Cabot Shores, we offer a wide variety of healing spaces in which to nurture your soul. Whether it’s a relaxing massage in the privacy of your own chalet, a group yoga session at Whiff’s Lodge or solitude hiking our beautiful grounds and trails, we’ll work with you to coordinate the perfect Wellness Retreat for you and/or your group.

Gate Of Life Healing Arts
Owner and Acupuncturist Barbara Weinberg brings her special gifts in the healing arts to Cabot Shores guests every day. Barbara offers early morning Qi Gong sessions, Group Meditations, private and group Five Element Acupuncture services, Five Element Meditative Walks, as well as Zero Balancing and Acupressure sessions throughout the year at Cabot Shores. Treat yourself – Wellness Package
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, we can either customize your stay or you can book our Wellness Package for 1 or 2 nights. It includes accommodation in the Lodge or in a Yurt for 1 or 2 people, breakfast and dinner in our GoBistro, meditation, an evening in a hot tub or Cedar Soaking tub, a hike or kayak/canoe/paddle board rental to explore our surroundings, and one hour with the following treatment: acupuncture, acupressure or rejuvenating facial. The word yoga means “union” in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. We can think of the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit. Yoga helps you to relax and overcome stress. Physically, yoga creates a toned, flexible, and strong body. In addition, yoga builds awareness of your body, your feelings, the world around you, the needs of others.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you.
The term “massage therapy” encompasses many forms of healing, including some of those mentioned above. Cabot Shores is pleased to offer many types of hands-on services on-site. There’s no better way to sink into your time here and ease your tired body than to begin with a relaxing massage.
Healing Artists in Residency
Combine your time with us during the stay of one of our Healing Artists in Residence. When on premise, our resident healing artist will make a morning offering to the guests of Cabot Shores as well as offer their healing modality to guests during their time here. “Morning Offerings” are a type of experiential exercise that our artist specializes in.
