Hi,
Our son and bride from Cape Breton are thinking of having their wedding out there Aug 18 2012. We were wondering about availability, prices, etc…

I am interested in getting married on your beautiful island. It will be a simple ceremony – only the bride and groom and our best friends. What are the requirements for US citizens to get married in Cape Breton?

Hi Deb,
Thanks for your inquiry. Because weddings have so much detail, we will be sending you a list of specific questions pertaining to your wedding and will then follow up with a touch base phone call. Speak with you shortly!

I am from cape breton and love everything about the scenery and want to have a small outdoor ceremony but I. Can not seem to find the right place, I don’t think I know of all of the best places and was wondering about suggestions!

If you like big cookie cutter wedding ceremonies, Cabot Shores is NOT the place for you. We do best with smaller, more intimate ceremonies, at the location on our property chosen by the bride and groom. It’s more of a favorite destination wedding. That said, it really helps to do a detailed plan, especially if friends and relatives are coming from outside Cape Breton. The location is NOT for everyone and please review with us (or your wedding planner and family) whether this spot works for you in terms of taste and budget. Hope this helps.

My soon to be husband is originally from Cape Breton, I myself have never been but we plan to marry this summer on the island, not being from there I would love some addition information if you have some available. We plan to have a small ceremony, with about 30 people in total if that. Anything you could possibly offer me would be a great help, as my soon to be is of no help in this area.
Thank You!

Congratulations to you and your “soon to be husband” on your upcoming wedding on Cape Breton. Thirty people is an excellentnumber for a small but intimate and romantic wedding here. We have written to you directly and also suggest you see the wedding video on this website at cabotshores.com/special-occasions-cape-breton-weddings-1206 and let us know your comments.
