Fresh Lobster Served at the Bistro of Cabot Shores, NSThe Cabot Shores Bistro prepares a variety of Fish/Seafood, Meat/Chicken and Vegetarian/Vegan Dishes. Below is a sample of the features we offer. We usually serve one feature from each category and change the features on a daily basis.

Soups

Entrees

Seafood and Meat Features

  • Planked Salmon – salmon cooked on cedar planks over an open fire, daily sauce selection*
  • Chicken Coq au Vin – chicken pieces simmered in a white wine & vegetable sauce*
  • 10oz Boneless Rib Steak – grilled to perfection with pan-fried onions*
  • Broiled Haddock – local haddock, broiled in fresh herb butter*
  • Pan-fried Salmon – wild-caught Pacific salmon prepared in an orange-honey glaze
  • Maple Salmon – wild-caught Pacific salmon broiled in a maple-dijon glaze
  • Lasagna Primavera – prepared with seasonal vegetables and a tomato meat sauce (can be vegetarian)
  • Seafood Chowder – cream-based chowder containing haddock, scallops, shrimp and, when in season, crab and lobster, served with home-baked bread
  • Lobster (mid-May to Mid-July), 1 1/4 lb. or market size, steamed, served with 2 salads
  • Pasta in various sauces – garden grown basil pesto, seafood, vegetable mariana **
  • Wood-fired Gourmet Pizza with your choice of toppings
  • Mussels with white wine garlic sauce

Vegetarian, Vegan Features

  • Cauliflower Curry prepared in a mild, creamy sauce with cashew nuts, served over steamed rice (vegan option available)
  • Vegetarian Plate – an assortment fresh veggies in sauces, legumes and/or tofu and or nuts, served with rice and chutney
  • Chickpea Masala prepared in a tomato-based sauce with a hint of cinnamon, served over steamed rice (vegan)
  • Seitan Stew prepared with Shiitake mushrooms & seasonal vegetables in a white wine sauce, served over steamed rice (vegan)
  • Cheese-Nut Loaf served with wild mushroom sauce
  • Peanut Noodle Bowl – prepared with sauteed veggies, tofu or nuts, and topped with a peanut sauce
  • Tofu Vegetable Stirfry prepared with seasonal vegetables in a ginger-soy sauce, served over steamed rice (vegan)
  • Fettucini Alfredo prepared in cream sauce with mushrooms and seasonal vegetables **
  • Wild Mushroom Risotto with ratatouille served with grated parmesan (vegan option available)
  • Sweet Potato Enchiladas tortillas stuffed with refried beans, sauteed sweet potatoes seasonal vegetables, cheese and baked in our special enchilada sauce
  • Vegetarian Lasagne prepared with seasonal vegetables, pesto, 3 cheeses and a tomato red wine sauce
  • Rice Pasta Primavera with Romesco sauce (vegean)
