Baddeck, Cape Breton is where the talented Alexander Graham Bell spent summers and set up a family estate and island (which you’ll see from the air as well)
The Crown Jewel airstrip is in the same area Alexander Graham Bell lived his dream, building and flying the Silver Dart in 1909.
Tired of heavily congested skies? Come enjoy unlimited class G airspace. Our 100-mile island has four airports and only one of them is under class E airspace.
Air Adventure Summary
Eco-Flying adventures for pilots and non-pilots
- Sky trekking the Cabot Trail - a 1.5 hours flight around the Cabot Trail. (identify reservation dates and BOOK NOW)
- Wine tasting - Leaving Baddeck at 9:00am, along the south coast to Waterville airport. Tour of the winery at Grand Pre, wine tasting and lunch at the winery restaurant - Le Caveau. The flight back takes us to the Confederation Bridge then along the north shore of Nova Scotia back to Baddeck at 4:30pm.
