Cabot Shores opened its doors to over 35 cancer survivors, supporters, facilitators and staff for a weekend of fun and adventure. Retreat Yourself weekends offer an opportunity to get together with other young adults with cancer. Many of them are recently out of treatment and have never attended another Young Adult Cancer Canada program. They “share our stories and talk about what’s bothering us about cancer, hang out, let loose, and build relationships you’ll value for a long time.”

After completing the 1st annual BECANS Breast Cancer Survivor Retreat this past October, BECANS has decided to return to Cabot Shores next October and invite Breast Cancer Survivors back for another fun filled weekend of learning, laughing and support.
