October 8th: Fire-Cooked Feast & Concert
Our 5th Chefs’ Tasting focusing Outdoor Cooking, with a variety of flatbreads, meats and seafood as well as lots of vegetarian options. The Feast will be followed by Flo Sampson giving a concert and a jam. The price is 28$ for the Tasting, 10$ for the concert per adult, half prize for children (not including alcohol, tax, optional gratuity).

October 9th: Thanksgiving Feast and Walk
Guided walk along the Red Island Trail in the afternoon, followed by a big Thanksgiving dinner in the Main Lodge at Cabot Shores, with Slow Roasted Turkey as well as lots of vegetarian and/or gluten-free options. Costs are $35 per adult, $17.50 for children (not including alcohol, tax, optional gratuity)

Cabot Shores Acoustic Festival Series (July, August AND September)
Here at Cabot Shores we value acoustic music, delicious food, and great company and that’s why we try and combine all three as much as possible. During our Acoustic Music Festival Series you have the opportunity to explore musical talents and the skills of our chefs.
Our August Acoustic Festival Series is upon us and we’re excited to share the experiences of our senses with everyone; the vibrations of music, the sounds in our ears, the taste of delicious food, and the company of wonderful humans.
Join us on Saturday, August 13th for a concert by The Ayl Men, a two man band of John Aylward and Joe Menchefski playing a variety of music for all to enjoy. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
Come for the evening or stay at our resort; All are welcome.
Our festival spans from July 21st to July 23rd and offers music and food each night.
The Festival starts out on Thursday, July 21st at 6:30pm
We will be having a concert by Rod MacDonald here in our lodge. The Bistro will also be operating with their regular menu. Click here to purchase your tickets, $15 for the concert or $30 for an all you can eat cookout AND the concert.
Continuing on Friday, July 22nd
A Cape Breton Ceilidh at 7:30pm located 3km up the road from Cabot Shores. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door of the United Church. Our Bistro will be open beforehand for a pre-ceilidh supper.
Finishing off the Festival, Saturday, July 23rd at 6:30pm
Will involve a Chef’s Tasting event where our chefs have specially selected appetizers and entrees to be served in a buffet-style meal through sourcing as locally as possible including seafood, meat, and vegetarian dishes.
