The “People’s Blue Grass Festival” at Cabot Shores- June 22-24th, 2012

A two and half day experiential music adventure into traditional and blues grass music, featuring some of North Americans best pickers and performers, featuring over 30 performances, selected showcases, jam band development working toward showcases, as well as instrument clinics and workshops. Everybody gets to listen, learn and play. One main stage, three showcase stages. Accommodation and tenting available.

Retreat Yourself- YACC (Young Adult Cancer Canada) July 19- 21 2011

Cabot Shores will open it’s doors to over 35 cancer survivors, supporters, facilitators and staff for a weekend of fun and adventure. Retreat Yourself weekends offer an opportunity to get together with other young adults with cancer. Many of them are recently out of treatment and have never attended another Young Adult Cancer Canada program. They “share our stories and talk about what’s bothering us about cancer, hang out, let loose, and build relationships you’ll value for a long time.” See our Retreat Yourself blog entry for more detail and visit the YACC website for registration and more information.

2nd Annual BCANS Breast Cancer Survivor Retreat- Oct 19-21 2012

After completing the 1st annual BECANS Breast Cancer Survivor Retreat this past October, BECANS has decided to return to Cabot Shores next October and invite Breast Cancer Survivors back for another fun filled weekend of learning, laughing and support.
