Wendy Gallant is the winner of our recent, “name the moose” contest, which took place just after a moose had been a field resident at Cabot Shores on and off for a month, mostly in our apple orchard.

Wendy named the moose Moosella-Eve…and we thank all the other folks making entries. There will be more moose and moose naming contests.
Previous experiences of Wendy and moose weren’t such happy stories.
A Cheticamp resident, Wendy has encountered many moose while driving. Two times, with two separate moose, her car was “totalled”…Fortunately, both her and husband Paul and each moose somehow walked away…
Wendy will likely be using her gift certificate towards a Valentine’s Day getaway at Cabot Shores which runs from Valentine’s Day on February 14-17th.
